Google Ads, Tiktok, Local Newspapers, Email, Flyers - there are so many marketing channels to choose from in 2023, it can be very stressful and time consuming for a practice owner to research, select and implement any one of them. There is a constant fear of missing out on the ‘best’ or most obvious activity.

Our extensive experience has shown us that practices should concentrate on a small but targeted selection of channels & do them well. Do not try to cover everything - you don’t have the time and you don’t need the stress!

The key point when selecting channels, is to go where your ideal clients / target audience are.

Using the results of the client and services tools in the previous section, you now know your client profiles and can match them to the right channels - we will take a closer look at them in the section.

Some channels are non-negotiable essentials however - without them, you risk missing out on most of your potential audience. They are your website, an activity called Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Email. Social Media is an almost essential, we’ll go into that later.
